Cut The Quarantine

Cut the Quarantine

Since March of 2020, life has taken an unprecedented turn. With limited access to barbers or stylists throughout the pandemic, one of the most noticeable changes for many of us has been the length of our hair. This unexpected consequence of the pandemic presented an opportunity for many to make a positive impact.

In anticipation of hair salons reopening, we joined forces with Locks of Love to seize this unique moment and make a meaningful difference for children in need. Together, we launched Cut the Quarantine, an initiative aimed at encouraging people to donate the extra inches of hair grown during the pandemic. By doing so, we aimed to help restore a sense of self, confidence, and normalcy to children facing hair loss.

My role in this endeavor involved drafting and prototyping the initial website, providing a seamless navigation experience for visitors after watching the introductory video.
